WHY GRATITUDE

I once heard that life can be lived in two ways: believing nothing is a miracle, or believing everything is. Think about this: Why couldn't miracles exist? And why shouldn't you be the one to receive them, especially since, whether you realize it or not, you are bestowed with them all the time!

IT’S YOUR TURN!

Last week I wrote and highlighted quotes from my book that I chose at random. And for the most part, I do live from their messages. Couching these words and living from that place inside helps me to fit into a slot of giving something I feel is substantial back into the world.

QUOTES FROM THE QUOTER

“The heart has no agenda but to hold you in the womb of the Universal energy that is a haven, overflowing with acceptance and unconditional love.  And since the heart is egoless there are no old tapes of redundancy and shaky habits playing allowing full reign for the one voice you will hear that matters…this is the voice of your true authentic Self and the homeland of love personified.”

WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE…

And so what did he do as he walked vacantly through the next few weeks? Always being the responsible person, he paid his debts, sold his house and bought a small condo, loaned money to needy friends, removed himself from the restaurants, and then?

NEW YEAR INTENTIONS FOR 2024

Intention setting is more about being specific about what it is you are choosing to bring into the new year and making it attainable ie. Try something like this…The idea of running is just one option in losing weight and I intend to find an exercise where I can not only get in shape like I would if I were to take up running but look forward to doing it!

LIMITLESSLY

You have more freedom today than you are using. For the most part, you have nothing to fear but your thoughts that keep you tied up so now is the time to become your expert on yourself and don’t go on what other people say about you.
Say more YES than NO’s which will keep you in a place of excitement and focus on what you are creating and will achieve. Thor did!!

IT'S FREE FOR YOU!

As your coach, even for a mere 30 minutes, I will help you refocus the time you are spending day after day on perceived pain points that have been keeping you from following your dreams AND changing the perception.  Like running on a very well-oiled hamster wheel, we forget that we are the ones who have the control!

GRATEFUL FEELS LIKE…?

When expressing gratitude make sure you pay attention to how it makes you feelinside.  We know the difference between making ourselves feel good and feeling conflicted.  So if you want to participate in helping to heal the world (and I’m sure you do), know that this little act of kindness is what the world is aching to hear and feel from all of us!

WE ALL HAVE SOMETHING THAT PLEXES US

Can we make this discovery in a mere 30 minutes?  Absolutely and baby steps are key!!  Simply be open to possibilities.  As famous mountain climber Jimmy Chin responded to the question of how he decides what is next on his radar he responded: “I listen to my desire and the dialogue in my sweet spot as I commit to my next challenge and once I do I deal with the details later.”

IT'S ALL VERY DOABLE!

With a Universe operating from a place of polar opposites there is a massive upheaval leading to many people siding with their shadow selves.  What this terminology means is in reference to parts of our personality that we choose to ignore because we want to think more highly of ourselves. We choose consciously to repress the thoughts that we have which bring up constantly judging who we are instead of facing them head-on.

NOT JUST FOR THE TIN MAN

So maybe we need to make a list to remind ourselves how to be the catalyst of extended loving kindness to others, friends family, or strangers. And this list would be about committing to one good deed a week for the 52 weeks of the year which when practiced daily will hopefully become an important, integral part of our whole Self.

THE BEHAVIOR THAT KEEPS ON GIVING

The risk here has always been that if women don’t keep track and listen to the duty tapes playing in their heads, the one that incessantly keep repeating age-old outdated or negative thoughts, then they may well end up living in an outdated, unflattering state of mind that holds them back from being their best self.

A SMALL DREAM COME TRUE

Every time I thought about the luxuriously blissful experience I was craving, that little voice in my head would start expounding all the reasons why it was financially irresponsible and how I could best and more practically spend my money.

WHO IS IT THAT TRULY KNOWS THE REAL YOU?

We are all capable of accomplishing more and being more but we sometimes veer off of our figurative Yellow Brick Road to Oz and allow the wicked witches in our lives to throw fireballs on our path, keeping us from reaching the Emerald City we seek. And if we allow this to happen often enough, we end up living our lives feeling like we have or are missing out on something.

WAKE UP TO YOUR BIG, BEAUTIFUL WORLD AND SMILE

I love this and am very familiar with the holes in my sidewalk over the years!   It says so much about how we can get stuck on the hamster wheel. To observe our habits as our own we can wake up to making a change and that the redundancy need no longer hold us back.

As with the falling into the hole, your spiritual practice may have you falling into many, many holes. However, you can get better at climbing out by waking up.

THE TESLA AND THE BUG

Look we hear about totally avoidable sad events all the time and though I don’t think or hope we will ever get to the point where we allow news like this to act like water rolling off a duck's back, the least we can do/MUST do is take pause and thank God/Spirit/Universe for our still being able to stand and then take another baby step forward to wake up.

How something can happen to change the trajectory of one’s life and those around them in a nano-second must generate pause to the fact that this could have been you, yes?

THERE IS ALWAYS TIME TO GROW

Disappointment is one of the most common symptoms of encroaching on this aging experience. We so often beat ourselves up for the things we haven’t done plus the things we did but wish we hadn’t. But what we forget is that this type of mindset assumes that there is no opportunity in the future to continue to grow, to forgive, to develop, explore, and experience a newly enhanced us. When we remember that what we desire in this life, our passions, dreams, hopes, and desires are not intended to never ever come true but to be acted upon. The discomfort we experience is the lesson and learning.
